The hide
Terms of Service
These terms govern purchases of crocodile and alligator leather goods from Torchley. By placing an order you agree to the clauses below.
Article 1 — The goods
Each listing is a made-to-order bag or belt in a named hide (Nile, porosus, Siamese, alligator, Morelet). Photographs show the silhouette and the scale; live skins vary slightly. The hide card in the dust bag is part of the description.
Article 2 — Orders
An order is an offer. We accept it when we send a cut notice. Once we cut your hide, that choice is final. We may refuse an order we cannot document for export.
Article 3 — Price and payment
Prices are in United States dollars. Payment is taken by the processor at checkout. Title passes when the piece is handed to the carrier.
Article 4 — Documents
Farmed skins travel with CITES paperwork where the destination requires it. You are responsible for import duties and any local permit on arrival.
Article 5 — Limitation
We are not liable for loss of profit or for a colour mismatch with a room we have not seen. Statutory rights for faulty goods remain. Stitching and hardware faults are repaired free for the life of the piece.
Article 6 — Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
