Terms of Service
These terms govern purchases of lighting fixtures from Torchley Lighting. By placing an order you agree to the clauses below.
Article 1 — The goods
Each listing describes a fixture as shipped: metal, glass, paper, or mixed. Photographs are styled interiors, not measured drawings. Dimensions in the specification row are the contract description.
Article 2 — Orders
An order is an offer. We accept it when we send a dispatch notice. We may refuse an order that we cannot crate safely or that looks fraudulent.
Article 3 — Price and payment
Prices are in United States dollars unless a listing says otherwise. Payment is taken by the processor at checkout. Title passes when the fixture is handed to the carrier; risk follows the carrier’s terms.
Article 4 — Installation
Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a qualified electrician. Torchley does not install. Damage from incorrect installation is outside the warranty.
Article 5 — Limitation
We are not liable for loss of profit or for decorative mismatch with a room we have not seen. Statutory rights for faulty goods remain.
Article 6 — Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
